Técnico/a IT de Sistemas y Redes (CCNA / ITIL / Fortinet)

We are looking to recruit an IT Systems and Networks Technician on a permanent basis, with at least three years’ experience and a strong background in networking and perimeter security, to strengthen the group’s infrastructure team at our Paterna office.

Role

To ensure the continuity, availability and security of the group’s IT systems and infrastructure, with a focus on corporate networks, perimeter security (Fortinet environment) and connectivity between sites, providing cross-functional support to users and site teams in Spain, Germany and Hungary.

Key responsibilities

In the area of networking and security, which is the core of the role, you will be responsible for the administration of L2/L3 switching, VLANs, routing and corporate WiFi, the day-to-day operation of FortiGate firewalls and VPNs, and the use of monitoring tools for detection and diagnosis. In systems, you will participate in the administration and maintenance of servers, virtualisation and directory services (Active Directory, permissions management, user onboarding and offboarding, corporate equipment). You will resolve incidents and requests in accordance with the assigned SLAs, actively participate in international IT projects and the deployment of new solutions, and contribute to the documentation, standardisation and continuous improvement of processes within the department.

What we are looking for

A minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in similar IT systems and networking roles within corporate environments.
Qualifications: Higher-level vocational training in Computer Science or Telecommunications (engineering qualifications would be an advantage).
CCNA certification (Routing & Switching or equivalent, valid).
ITIL Foundations.
Solid knowledge of VLANs, L2/L3 switching, routing and Windows Server / Active Directory systems.
English at B2 level or higher (regular interaction with sites in Germany and Hungary).

The following will be highly valued

Fortinet NSE 4 certification or higher.
Knowledge of VMware and Citrix.
