Quality Control Engineer
MAIN DUTIES AND AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
• Maintaining contact with customers.
• Preparing reports and documentation as directed by the quality management supervisor.
• Participating in the launch of new products and related reviews.
• Supporting the production, logistics, maintenance, and other departments in quality management matters.
• Participating in and, in some cases, leading regular meetings of the quality management department.
• Managing nonconformities and maintaining the database in the ERP system.
• Preparing and sending internal and external 8D reports to customers and management.
• Analyze the causes of complaints, define and monitor strategic measures.
• Develop corrective actions to resolve issues, manage defective products.
• Participate in process development following product launch.
• Train quality management and production department staff on quality management topics.
• Participation in all customer and system audits in the quality management area.
• Operation of the quality management system in accordance with ISO/TS 16949:2016 and maintenance of the corresponding documentation.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Technical degree from a technical college or university.
• More than 5 years of professional experience.
Knowledge of VDA or other auditing standards is a plus.
• Familiarity with the 8D problem-solving method (8D training or practical experience).
• Strong communication skills and intermediate English proficiency.
