Cost Estimation Engineer

The Analysis and Costing Department is currently recruiting a Cost Estimation Engineer:

MISSION
Your primary role will be to prepare cost estimates for tooling and products related to stamping, welding, assembly, and logistics processes, thereby facilitating the preparation of commercial bids and decision-making.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Define the stamping production process (machine type, manufacturing averages, and number of operators).
Define and evaluate the welding/assembly production process and costs using estimation templates (machine type, manufacturing averages, and number of operators).
Economically evaluate the cost of raw materials (using standard tables or direct contact with purchasing).
Define packaging to assess packaging and shipping costs for parts (based on standard tables).
Define manufacturing and shipping locations with cost analysis comparisons.
Assess the initial feasibility of stamping, welding, and assembly processes.

What are we looking for?
To evaluate your application
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent university degree.
• Good command of English (required); German is a plus.
• Proficiency in Excel
• Knowledge of 3D software
• Knowledge or additional training in manufacturing, stamping, and welding methods and processes is a plus, as is additional training in reading blueprints.
