Maintenance Technician
MAIN DUTIES AND AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
• Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance, as well as repairs on machinery and equipment (presses and other technical equipment), and notify your immediate supervisor in the event of a breakdown.
• Assist in the installation of new equipment.
• Monitor and maintain the technical condition of the factory facilities.
• Monitor the proper functioning of utility systems (water, gas, electricity) and other systems necessary for production (cooling, compressor, generator, fire alarm), and notify the supervisor in the event of a malfunction.
• Execute the preventive/corrective maintenance plan.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Relevant intermediate vocational training certificate (e.g., machinery mechanic/structural mechanic/electrician).
• Knowledge of wiring diagrams if holding an electrician’s license.
• Knowledge of the tools required to perform maintenance tasks and their proper use.
• General knowledge of environmental, health, and safety at work.
• Willingness to work shifts.
Desirable requirements:
• Knowledge of hydraulic system repair.
• Ability to read diagrams (hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical).
• Basic knowledge of welding.
