At Grupo Segura, we believe that the future is built by supporting young talent and building cultural bridges. That is why, at the end of May, we enthusiastically attended the grand finale of the Segura Spanish Language Contest, an initiative that rewards academic excellence and mastery of Spanish among students at our partner institution.
More than sponsorship: A commitment to education
Since 2016, Grupo Segura has been firmly committed to training new generations. For us, social responsibility is not just a concept, but a continuous action that takes the form of:
- The development of specialized libraries.
- The awarding of scholarships to outstanding students.
- Constant support for the dissemination of Spanish language and culture.
This competition is the culmination of that effort, with this year’s winner receiving a prize of €1,000 to boost their academic career.
A high-level final
After a demanding first written phase, the 10 best students in 9th and 10th grade (both advanced and special program levels) reached the final, where they demonstrated extensive vocabulary, confidence, and exceptional fluency.
The jury, tasked with the difficult job of evaluating these talented young people, was made up of:
- Representatives from Grupo Segura.
- Dr. Eszter Valyon.
- Márton Gulyás, former student and first winner of the contest.
